In short

  • Paddle, our merchant of record, is the seller of every purchase and pays every refund, to the card or account you paid with.
  • A consumer in the European Union can withdraw from a purchase within 14 days, without giving a reason.
  • The first payment of a subscription is refunded in full if you withdraw within 14 days of buying it.
  • A credit pack is refunded in full if you withdraw within 14 days and none of its credits has been used.
  • After 14 days you can cancel a subscription at any time: nothing more is charged, and the period already paid stays active until it ends. It is not refunded, except in the cases listed below.

Withdrawing within 14 days

The 14 days run from the day the contract is concluded, which is the day of the purchase. The automatic renewal of a subscription you already have continues the same contract and does not start a new withdrawal period.

Any one of these is enough to withdraw: the Withdraw from contract here button in Account, which asks you to confirm your name and the purchase; an email to [email protected] saying that you withdraw; or the model form at the bottom of this page, sent to the same address. Only the notice has to leave within the 14 days.

We acknowledge every withdrawal, with the date and time we received it, by email. The subscription is cancelled and the amount paid is refunded within 14 days of your notice, by the same means you paid with and at no cost to you.

A credit pack is digital content supplied at once. If at checkout you asked for it to be supplied immediately and acknowledged that the right of withdrawal ends when supply begins, that right ends as soon as the pack’s credits start being used. A pack none of whose credits has been used is refunded in full.

After the first 14 days

Cancel from Account → Manage billing whenever you like. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the plan stays active until the end of the period already paid for. A period already paid for is refunded only in these cases:

  • You were charged by mistake — twice for the same period, or after you had cancelled. The wrong charge is refunded in full.
  • We materially reduce what your plan includes during a paid period and you cancel because of it. The rest of the period is refunded pro rata.
  • We suspend or close your account for a reason other than fraud or non-payment. The unused part of the period is refunded.
  • The service does not work as described and we cannot put it right within a reasonable time. The legal guarantee of conformity for digital services applies (art. 135-octies and following, Codice del Consumo), including a price reduction or ending the contract with a refund.

How a refund is paid

Paddle sends the refund to the original payment method, in the currency you paid in, together with the VAT charged on it, and confirms it by email. When it appears depends on your bank or card issuer, usually within 5 to 10 working days. You can also reach Paddle’s buyer support directly about any charge from the link in your receipt.

Business purchases

The right of withdrawal belongs to consumers and does not apply to purchases made for a business, including Team subscriptions. Mistaken charges and a service that does not work as described are refunded as above whoever bought it.
